Zenica, July 7, 2025 – Elvir Ajanović, director of the company Tapas doo Zenica, which is the licensee of the International General BH Fair ZEPS, won the prestigious “European Manager 2025” award in the 46th year in a row chosen by the European Independent Agency from Sarajevo. Also, the ZEPS fair was awarded the “Best Brand” award. The awards were presented at the final event – a solemn ceremony “Choice of the best manager, company and person of the year in the region” in Sarajevo.
This international award was presented to Ajanović for, as it says in the explanation, “the revitalization of the Bosnian trade fair with the longest tradition – ZEPS, which was evaluated as a successful business move both in the domestic and regional frameworks”.
This year, 24 laureates were announced, among them are businessmen, statesmen, ambassadors and politicians from the Western Balkan region, and all of them have in common that their work positively influences the development of business and overall opportunities in society. In the past 45 awards and recognitions of this Agency, about 800 successful managers and personalities of the year received the award, of which about 600 winners came directly from business, followed by 20 presidents of states and governments, 50 chiefs and mayors, 50 ministers, and 40 ambassadors.
It should be noted that after the Coat of Arms of the City of Zenica and the Business Move 2024 in the selection of the business portal Indikator.ba from Sarajevo, this is the third significant recognition that Ajanović and ZEPS have received this year.
Ajanović is a long-time businessman with numerous business achievements behind him. However, the highlight of his involvement is certainly the return of the General BH ZEPS fair. After ZEPS was successfully returned to the fair scene, it became clear that Ajanović, together with his team of people, did a huge thing for the economy of Zenica and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole. The Zenica company Tapas has been working on the organization of the most important fair events and other large manifestations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region for 25 years.

The general BH fair ZEPS 2025 will be held from September 10 to 13 at Kamberovića Polje in Zenica. Last year, more than 1,200 brands took part in ZEPS, and more than 1,000 B2B meetings were organized. About 300 business contracts were agreed upon and signed, and this year additional efforts were made to make even more of them.
